Daniel has a background that merges architecture, design, and business. Since joining AEA, Daniel has applied his skills to strategic and business planning for more than 100 clients, including:

• Developing financial models and business plans for the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in Athens, the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston, and The Shed in New York;
• Space planning and capital project feasibility work for Haus der Kunst in Munich, the Powerhouse Workshop in Brooklyn, and CERN in Geneva;
• Facilitating strategic planning processes for the Pérez Art Museum Miami, Dallas Museum of Art, and Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity;
• Creating cultural plans for Downtown Brooklyn and Barangaroo in Sydney; and
• Developing new programming and facility concepts for arts organizations such as the Museum of Pop Culture and property developers such as The Howard Hughes Corporation (Pier 17 in New York) and Lai Sun Group (Hengqin, China).

Prior to joining AEA, Daniel worked on exhibitions and installations that appeared in the Center for Architecture, New York Fashion Week, PS1, Storm King Art Center, and the galleries at Columbia University; he was also a part of the New City Reader project at the New Museum, producing a weekly newspaper that focused on changes in urban life. Daniel previously also worked in Citigroup’s investment bank, where he advised financial sponsors and their portfolio companies on capital markets and strategic transactions.
Daniel graduated with a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Business Honors Program at The University of Texas at Austin.
