The relationship between health and mental well-being and the arts has risen to become a topic of high interest, both in scientific and artistic circles. The Covid-19 pandemic had a profound impact on our healthcare systems and our psyche, highlighting the need for an enhanced understanding of the complex relationship between them, as well as new and improved processes to promote them. This session will look at practical ways in which the arts and culture play a role – drawing on the development of international networks whose mission is to progress and promote awareness, research, and activities aimed at improving health outcomes and achieving an effective integration between the world of arts and culture and that of health and wellbeing.
